I am assuming still warrior just because watch yourself can still be kind of effective/ some ias stuff or other shouts. Or should their be an entirely new secondary class.

I will probably attempt legendary survivor for this char.

Also I plan on getting some skills with faction for early access. What is a good build for generally protecting myself/ doing damage that I can take through the game. Also, I know that most spells don't affect minions any more(shouts I mean) but does go for the eyes still do crits for minions? I am guessing no but didn't see any actual changes under official game updates.

Sorry for the double post I am brain dead and meant to edit that in there.

anything you want. You have gobs of energy. p/w for shields up or watch yourself, /me for mirror of disenchantment or even an interrupt, p/r for apply poison and/or troll, p/mo for non signet of return hard rez, aegis, or a self heal, p/e for conjure xx, p/a for er...i dunno. siphon speed? dash wouldn't be too bad for just moving through maps, though you already have fall back! available from your primary .

You're probably overthinking your paragon. just run 16 spear and destroy things.

~I like mesmer for expel hexes and interupts...

~I like 'sin for the mobility skills

~Warrior for the shouts

~monk for mending touch, rez etc...

~ranger for the pet+pet skills, (see builds directory) and for TOPK. etc...

~Dervish for....nothing really

~Necro for... condition spreading

~Rit for farming with VWK and weapon skills

~Ele for conjure skills as well as the shock+awe combo... and some other burning skills...

If you are going for survivor, I would check out the heroe builds... setting up your heroes is key... other than that.... do what Thom suggests...kill things.

Thanks, I guess I will go p/w just for a few extra shouts. But do you guys know any builds that do good damage/ kinda support the party while keeping myself alive very well? I was thinking maybe trying to copy the solo fow paragon build just because I know it can survive well.

Also, would a 15%^50 inscription be necessary? Since I usually live off of green items and saw the end game prayer of the forgotten had +5 energy furious of fortitude. And since I think the only other furious was mallyx's weapon (which I don't think I will ever get in a life time unless it gets farmed quickly to the point it costs 20k =P). And what kind of shield would you guys prefer for a basic damage/surviving build? Green/collector and what kind of requirement.

You may want to look at the ToF build. I've been using it for a while and in a group it is hard to beat. Ive made changes to it, but it really does work, and you dont have to use triple chop. I used only nightfall skills for a while untill I bought factions. You should be able to find it in the builds area.

Paragorn is very self sufficient so P/x works well, however they kinda lack in the elite department so if there's a specific elite you want to fit into your paragorn take that as a secondary, no attribute elite is best as you dont need to spend additional attributes on it.
